Project Description
Named for its two brick-lined, 125-foot wells on the property, Deepwells is a 19th-century, Greek Revival-style estate that hosts a variety of festivals, concerts and community functions. Bladykas Engineering installed new fire sprinklers throughout the existing building, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The work, which included new fire protection water service, was designed and installed to maintain the historic finishes throughout the building. Cut-and-patch decorative lath and plaster allowed piping and sprinkler heads to be concealed in locations where piping could not be installed in the attic or basement.
