Project Description
Built in 1720, the Earle-Wightman House serves as a museum and research library to preserve the history of Oyster Bay. Bladykas Engineering designed a new chiller and hot water heating system, including a new high-efficiency, sealed combustion type gas fired boiler, hot water pumps and associated air handling equipment. The project required high standards for humidity and temperature control to help preserve the historic building and conserve its valuable collections of textiles, books and paintings. Other work included fire sprinklers and fire alarm system, electrical power and lighting, electric service, domestic water service, fire protection water service and gas service.
