Project Description

The project involved the design of a new 3T MRI Machine to replace the existing equipment at Northwell’s North Shore University Hospital Cohen Pavilion in Manhasset, NY.  Design included new electrical distribution to support the increased power requirements of the MRI system, designing a new Type 1 Essential Electrical System distribution to serve the area, a new packaged rooftop unit and computer room air conditioning unit to serve the suite.  The design was meticulously integrated to accommodate concurrent building projects in the vicinity and to minimize disruption to the surrounding active hospital.
