North Shore University Hospital MRI Expansion: a pioneering initiative amplifying medical imaging capabilities. This endeavor encompasses a comprehensive redesign of the First Floor’s 7,000 sqft. Imaging Suite at North Shore University Hospital. Notable achievements include creating three new MRI modalities, complete with associated staff and patient spaces. Seamlessly integrating mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, we’ve orchestrated a cohesive imaging environment. Of particular significance is the expanded electrical and mechanical infrastructure which featured a new 2500A, 277/480V, 3 phase, 4-wire PSEG electrical service expanded from the hospital’s primary utility loop and a new 80 ton VAV system to serve the project area.
