Project Description
Arc flash hazard assessments are an essential component of workplace safety plans. Bladykas Engineering conducted a study of the existing medium voltage (69 KV, 15 KV, and 5 KV), 480 Volt and 208 Volt electrical distribution systems at the client’s four buildings. Work included a short-circuit study, protective device coordination study and an arc flash study of the service and distribution systems. Deliverables included a summary report, creation of labels identifying the arc flash hazard at each location, and one-line electrical drawings documenting the existing electrical distribution system. A subsequent report provided recommendations to mitigate and reduce arc flash hazards for facility personnel.
