Bladykas Engineering successfully executed the MEP redesign for the Northwell 10 Monti project, collaborating with McGuire Group Architecture for Northwell Health. This 5,300 sqft endeavor encompassed a comprehensive transformation, converting outdated office and patient care spaces into a modern administrative area. The scope included the upgrade of the electrical Type 1 Essential Electrical System to ensure robust life safety branch power. Our mechanical design incorporated a VAV system, efficiently served by the existing central air handling unit. The project also saw the implementation of new fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems throughout for enhanced safety. Notably, we designed an HVAC return system to maintain acoustical privacy, ensuring a conducive work environment. This project stands as a testament to our proficiency in revitalizing healthcare infrastructure for optimal functionality and safety.
