Project Description
This project involved the conversion of a 1920s-era bank building into a multi-level, Asian-themed restaurant, located in the Babylon business district. Bladykas Engineering designed new electric service, new gas service, and new fire protection and domestic water services. HVAC was designed so as not to interfere with high-end finishes throughout the restaurant and to hide ductwork. Design of the second floor dining area incorporated a 20-foot viewing window, where diners can take in all the action of a state-of-the-art kitchen. Basement work included the design of a complete prep kitchen and IT room that controls the restaurant’s dramatic lighting and sophisticated entertainment system.
