Project Description

This project consisted of the renovation of 5,000 square feet of existing Pediatric Hematology space on the 3rd floor of this 10-story hospital building. Bladykas Engineering provided a full range of design services, including electrical lighting, power, telecommunications, HVAC, nurse call system and medical gases. The project also involved the relocation of sprinkler heads and fire alarm system devices, as well as the repositioning of HVAC grilles and ductwork. The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Medical Center is considered one of the most technologically advanced hospitals for children in the world.
