Project Description

Bladykas Engineering was the prime consultant for the Montefiore Moses Pathology Lab Renovation project, in collaboration with Montefiore. The 5,000 sqft renovation was executed with precision to integrate the new Abbott Modular Robotic Total Laboratory Automation System. We implemented a meticulous 14-step phased construction approach, ensuring uninterrupted lab operations throughout the renovation process. Our scope also included the design of essential equipment such as the Sysmex Blood Analyzer, as well as a new Millipore reverse osmosis water system and air compressor. To guarantee uninterrupted functionality, we engineered an emergency power and UPS system, along with supplemental cooling to manage the increased heat load. This project showcases our expertise in delivering tailored MEP solutions for critical healthcare environments.
