Located across the street from the Village of the Branch Historic District, the key design goals included maintaining the building aesthetics, minimizing lines of site for building systems and achieving acceptable noise levels. Locating the mechanical systems within a strategically located, compact, screened mechanical well on the roof, selecting and locating the mechanical equipment based on height and noise levels and providing a tap box for a mobile generator for contingency planning helped in achieving these goals. This project included two MRI machines, one CT machine, one x-ray, two mammography units, one bone densitometry machine, two ultrasound machines and support space in a newly constructed core and shell building.
