Montefiore, a healthcare leader in the Bronx, has ingeniously transformed their medical office building in New York City with an advanced power solution. Montefiore assessed the feasibility of integrating an optional standby generator to add protection for the storage of vaccines. Bladykas Engineering identified a more cost-effective strategy, incorporating local standby UPS systems tailored to safeguard vital medical refrigerators storing vaccines throughout the facility. This approach allowed for faster delivery of a time-critical project with less invasive construction activity.
