Project Description

The Northwell Health Labor & Delivery Expansion project was a vital addition to Northwell Health’s facilities. This 4,800 sqft. expansion, encompassed the creation of a state-of-the-art Labor and Delivery suite complete with a C Section/Infant Resuscitation Room, 8 recovery bays, and essential support spaces. Our expertise shone through in the design of medical gas systems, ensuring the seamless distribution of Oxygen, Medical Air, Vacuum, and Nitrous Oxide. We also implemented a mechanical VAV system with a laminar flow ceiling array in the C Section Room. A critical upgrade included the Type 1 Essential Electrical System to support current demands and future expansion. Our contributions extended to the design of lighting, nurse call, power distribution, fire sprinkler, fire alarm, and domestic water and sanitary systems. This project underscores our unwavering commitment to enhancing healthcare infrastructure.
