Spanning 8,400 sqft, the Montefiore Moses Pediatric & Adult Emergency Department Renovation addressed critical needs in both pediatric and adult emergency care. This comprehensive renovation included the incorporation of new psychiatric areas in accordance with NYS Office of Mental Health Guidelines. Our scope also encompassed the design of patient headwalls, accommodating patients of all sizes, and the creation of modernized patient toilet facilities. In tandem, we reconfigured the HVAC system to efficiently serve the updated space configuration from the existing central air handler to meet the needs of the renovated space. To support these enhancements, we expanded the electrical distribution and implemented a new nurse call and public address system. Through meticulous phased construction, we maintained seamless operations of the active emergency department, demonstrating our commitment to compliance and uninterrupted healthcare services.
