Project Description

Bladykas Engineering spearheaded the design and implementation of a state-of-the-art mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) system for the new 8,250-square-foot addition to an existing synagogue. Our comprehensive MEP services were integral to the functionality and efficiency of the new space, which includes a grand lobby entrance, multiple classrooms, and a versatile multipurpose room.

Key elements of our MEP design included the installation of a new upgraded electric service and electric distribution specifically tailored to meet the demands of the addition. We also ensured a reliable water supply through the provision of a new water service. Our HVAC design prioritizes comfort and energy efficiency, creating an optimal indoor environment for all building occupants. Safety was at the forefront of our considerations, with the installation of a state-of-the-art sprinkler and fire alarm system.

Moreover, our team strategically designed and implemented a new rooftop natural gas generator, guaranteeing a constant and reliable power supply. A notable feature of the project was the inclusion of a smoke control system within the atrium design, ensuring compliance with the New York State Building Code. At Bladykas Engineering, our expertise in MEP systems plays a crucial role in our ability to deliver innovative solutions that meet our clients’ specific needs.
