Project Description
Located in a 22,000 square foot building that once housed a landmark movie theater, The Space at Westbury is a multifaceted performing arts center. Electrical design services included a theater lighting control system with approximately 400 lighting control circuits and a 400 Amp Company Switch that allows visiting performers to connect their own audio equipment. Bladykas Engineering designed a new HVAC system with very low acoustical noise to ensure optimal sound quality during concerts and film screenings. Other work included new water service, gas service, fire alarm and sprinklers. This project follows the local trend of revamping abandoned downtown buildings into multiuse entertainment venues.
