For the Five Towns Premier Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a state-of-the-art, five-story facility spanning over 200,000 square feet and housing 280 beds, Bladykas Engineering crafted a comprehensive electrical design to support the center’s modern amenities and cutting-edge technology. The facility is geared towards providing an unparalleled experience for its residents, offering long-term care and short-term subacute services, including an on-site renal dialysis center, a dedicated respiratory care unit, and a top-notch rehabilitation suite. The electrical design includes twin 2500A, 277/480V, 3-phase electric services, and a Type 2 Essential Electrical System powered by a 1000KW diesel generator. Other notable features of the design include facilities for dialysis, medical gases, a full fire protection system with a fire pump, and a voice fire alarm system with partial evacuation capabilities. This comprehensive approach ensures the facility is well-equipped to offer the highest standard of care for its residents.
