Project Description

Bladykas Engineering designed a new LEED-certified maintenance facility at New Montefiore Cemetery. Services encompassed new HVAC system, plumbing fixtures, lighting, fire alarm, fire sprinklers, new electrical service, and domestic and fire protection water services. The building’s systems were designed and built to LEED Silver Certified standards, incorporating sustainable design principles, technologies and best practices. Noteworthy green design features incorporated into the new facility included an energy recovery ventilator, high-efficiency flush meter valves and condensing furnaces. Project work also included a repair garage, locker room and employee lunchroom.
