Project Description

In the heart of Riverhead, NY, the Northwell Riverhead Cancer Center embodies compassionate innovation, redefining cancer care within the esteemed Northwell Health network. The 11,300-square-foot facility promises an oasis of comprehensive outpatient cancer care. Here, patients will discover a haven of healing, offering everything from cutting-edge medical oncology and infusion/chemotherapy to immunotherapy and targeted treatments – all in a modern, welcoming environment. Design for the all-new facility included mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and fire alarm systems throughout and featured an onsite USP 797 Compliant Pharmacy and infusion spaces. The design included both repurposing existing rooftop packaged air conditioning equipment as well as providing an all new VAV system to meet construction budget constraints.
